Method 2 of 2: Develop your inner beauty

1      Search wisdom. People who cultivate their inner wisdom and live their lives by applying sound principles radiate beauty and radiate to the people around them. Wisdom can never be fully achieved - this is an ongoing process, and there is always something more to learn.
Meditate and think about your actions. You can learn a lot if you take the time to do nothing and think, either meditating, writing a newspaper or just enjoying a nice view in a park.
Read the works of wise people. You can learn much from novelists, poets and historians. Reading can help you accumulate more knowledge and put your ideas into opportunities.
Listen carefully to the ideas of people you admire deeply. People who work in a similar field to yours, who are engaged in healthy relationships or who simply much experience in life, can help you learn every day.
Be more cultured. Watch foreign films, learn a new language or go to the museum once a month can help you better appreciate the vastness of the world and make you wiser.

2     Be generous. You do not need to be rich to develop a generous spirit. Give things to associations regularly, even if you can not give much.
If you can not give money, then give your time. Open your home and share a meal, a tea or a bottle of wine with friends.
The holidays are a perfect time to grow your spirit of generosity. Go visit a neighbor or old family member, buy a gift for someone who is less fortunate than you, or help prepare a family meal to someone who might appreciate having some company.

3   Looking for spiritual truth. Perhaps you are a dedicated practitioner of a religion. Or perhaps do you not believe in a specific deity, but do you find a great spiritual satisfaction to spend time in nature. You do not will satisfy your spiritual hunger if you focus too much on rules and dogma or if you only want scientific truth rather than spiritual truth.
Find a way to be part of something bigger than you, you will have a little more compassion for others.
Traveling to new places and remarkable views can help you with this.

4   Give up your bad feelings. Your feelings are important because they tell you what to do and what not to do. However, if you hold on to negative feelings too long, they will poison your soul.
Control your emotions. If you are angry against someone, do not let this turn into bitterness and resentment. Go outside and shout, call a friend and unpack everything, or go to a kickboxing classes and rock out. Then forgive, be the most responsible person and make better choices the next time.
Turn the page, if you really need. If you want to share your feelings with someone who has hurt you because it will resolve your conflict, then it is the right thing to do. But if you want someone to shout or discharge you to a litany of complaints, then it is better that you write what you feel. Unproductive or unilateral argument will only make you feel worse and remind you of your negative feelings.

5   Be authentic. Say what you think. Live by your values. Support your views courteously. Do not pretend to be someone else in the imaginary order to please someone else. The world needs you as you are.
Be authentic, carefully. Being a good person is also, in part, namely to hold his tongue. Here are some situations in which it is better not say what you think:
If a loved one is having a bad day, that's not the right time to tell them about their faults. Timing is essential if you want to share your opinions.
If someone is rude to you in public, there is no reason to attack back. Instead, be more mature and realize that this person is likely a bad day.
Leave room for improvement. While it's important to you-even, it is also important to recognize that we are all imperfect beings and we can always improve our character. Be aware of your flaws and accept constructive criticism

6   Express your gratitude. Whether you are grateful to a Higher Being, your family and friends or someone who was friendly with you on the street, take the time to say "thank you." Many people find that having a diary helps thanks to concentrate on what they have rather than what they lack. Here are some ways to express your gratitude:
Send cards to close friends to tell them how much they mean to you. You can say it in a birthday card or a holiday greeting card, but your words weigh even more if you do it without specific occasion.
Make small gifts full of meaning. Even if you do not have a large budget, give a friend a book of poetry which she spoke to you, or paint it one of your favorite places can show him how grateful you are.
Tell your loved ones how you feel. Tell your significant other, your best friend and your family that you love them and you enjoy them as many times as you can.

"Less is more". Explore your clutter and discard unnecessary items. Give your room a paint or buy a pretty plant for your living room.
Arrange your home. Manage domestic problems you have neglected. Wherever you are, you can arrange a room for you.
Add some plants to your life. If you have a balcony, some plants can be a very good supplement and may even help you spice up your meals.
Remember what you like best. Hang pictures of your loved ones and your favorite places. You will always feel at home if you feel far from home and in your life.

8   Maintain healthy relationships. Even if you do not have millions of friends, having a support system is a key to becoming a good person. It is important to maintain relationships that will help you grow as a person.

Stay in touch with your family. Take time to see your family as often as you can. If they are far away, call them or write them a letter even.
Give up your unhealthy friendships. It is important to maintain your relationships, but if you find yourself in a one-sided friendship that will make you just feel good vis-à-vis yourself, you must recognize that all friendships are not good to keep.
